Selected for the RWA 170th Open, this is a first print from a new project, using etching as the vehicle for exploring ideas. A new body of work exploring memories and the tenous way that we
recall the past. Nostalgic, wistful, halcyon days and sun-kissed skin.

This
is a limited edition print of just 10 hand pulled prints on Somerset
satin. One is framed at the Royal West of England Art Academy - and this makes me super happy!

It is a four-colour etching, involving multiple plates and
scrupulous registration. I have loved creating this new work and I
hope that you love it too!

This work has been printed on the press pictured (isn't it a beauty?) during a sunny day in the studio. Each one of this edition of 5 took over an hour to ink up and involved four-colours and mulitple etching plates, carefully placed for perfect registration. It was an utter joy to create. I think I'm in love.
