Using aluminium, I got the opportunity to emboss and create etchings for the first time this week. It was marvellous!
For this, I employed my newly created sun man (smiling head only)to create a bold design.
I didn't really get the hang of the etching. My ink application was not all that even. There is a definite technique and skill with this that I have yet to master!
However, the effect of the blind emboss (testing the plate before any ink is added to it) was fantastic and my sun man shone!
