Underfall Market Tomorrow and Summer round-up!

Hey hey! It's another Friday!!! I hope this finds you well and looking forward to your weekend?

Apologies for not having been in touch for a while. The summer is always bonkers, with the kids home from school and no routine. Lots has been happening at Amy HQ, but I haven't had a moment until now to update you.

Firstly, I have had a place confirmed at the new Underfall Yard Market, on Bristol Harbour, this weekend. If you happen to be about, do swing by to say hello. There will be lots of local makers plus it coincides with the Sea Shanty Festival, so there will be singing and shenanigans, alongside the sellers!

I am working on a new lino print to bring along for the event. I'm printing it today, and will be frantically wrapping it, so that I can share it with you tomorrow. It is worked from an original sketch I made, prior to the Underfall Yard fire, and also features one of my foxes on top of the boatshed! I've really enjoyed carving it and will have a limited first run with me in the morning! I believe i might be inside the F-Block, which you can find on the attachment below, as marked by an octopus and a fish! Find me sheltering from the rain, between 10am and 6pm!

In other news, the wonderful refugees that I work with from Borderlands had the opportunity over ther summer to exhibit their printmaking within Cass Art, Bristol. They were so proud - and rightly so! I have volunteered with Borderlands participants at Spike Print Studio once a month for almost 7 years now! It has been such a pleasure to see their work develop, and this exhibition was a celebration of all they are achieving. Big thanks go to the staff at Spike Print, and my awesome team of volunteers for the support in hanging the show when I was unable to be present. It looked wonderful.

And last little bit for now, I will once again be exhibiting at the West Bristol Arts Trail on the weekend of the 12th and 13th October, so do put that date in your diaries! There has been a venue change, though, so please do find me in Clifton College for this year. Most of the exhibitors, who are usually alongside me at Goldney Hall will also be in this venue. It would be brilliant to hear your news and see your face. I will have new work to share with you, and exclusive offers.

Okay lovely ones, I must get on - those prints won't wrap themselves and I have an early start in the morning.

Sending love and sunshine,

Amy x
