So I've been working on some prints continuing along with the ophthalmology theme that I was bestowed during Pint of Science in May.
I had such a fascinating time interepreting new research for the event, that I have continued working with Dr Denize Atan. She has sent me some incredible images, taken from an OCT angiography scanner - it's revolutionized the detail and information that can be attained when analysing patients and establishing what is wrong.
I have been drawing from these scans and feel they look a little like maps. I'm
pretty inspired to check out some cartography and work out the best way I can play with these images once they're on a silk screen! What do you think?
