Hey and happy almost weekend! I wanted to get in touch to let you know what I've been up to, and where you can find me this side of the Christmas festivities.
First off, new things are in development at Amy HQ. There will be fresh pieces of work, shown for the first time at the Underfall Yard on Saturday 30th November and Sunday 1st December - that's right - in just a few sleeps I will be inside at the Underfall Yard's Christmas market weekend.
I will be trading inside the shed at this Christmas event, from 10am until 6pm both days - I'm hoping to be able to access the mulled wine with ease!
On the floor plan, please find me near the door to the right of the image - beyond that is the Matthew, which is currently on the slip.
There will be a great mix of local traders, live music, mulled wine and an atmosphere to bring Christmas that little bit closer! (I can't believe I've used the "c" word - and it's only November!!!) Do mark your diaries and come along to hear the singing, enjoy the atmosphere and purchase unique gifts for loved ones (and maybe the odd treat for yourself too). If you follow me on social media, there is a short video clip showing the Underfall in the snow the other week, which illustrates exactly where i'll be. (Find me here on Instagram and facebook).
I will still be trading via my webshop, which can be found here at Amy's Emporium, until 16th December.
Since I was last in touch, things have been busy on the workshop front. I have been continuing my work for Bristol Care homes, working further for the RWA with multiple, vulnerable groups, and continuing to facilitate once a month with Borderlands at Spike Print Studio. New things are, as ever, on the horison, so do watch this space!
I was also excited to get some unexpected, good press, via a feature in the national BBC news, in an article for the Secret App about local, small business and our favourite Bristol places.
Anyway, I must sign off now and start getting on with other work. Fingers crossed I'll be seeing you on Satuday or Sunday - the weather is looking promising.
Much love, Amy x
