One of my absolute favourite things is creating to commission. I adore bringing your ideas to life, providing a visual representation of a special place or occassion.
I am currently working on a birthday gift, playing with all the greens to produce a verdant garden and family home. Using pen and ink, I hand draw from photographs (or from life, depending on the subject), before thinking about colour, pattern and how to imbue a sense of place.
Here are a few, sneaky peeks of one of my current works in progress. I am back at Spike Print Studio this week for the first time in six months and can barely wait! Hopefully this beautiful commission will be complete at the end of my print session. I am really looking forwards to exposing my artwork and adding the final layers to this piece.
