Missing the Mansion

As the weather turns colder, I think back to my first residency at Ashton court Mansion, when in January 2019, I found myself on the first floor, drawing dilapidated space with mittens and a bobble hat. I could only sketch the interior for an hour before my fingers went numb and I couldn't feel my toes.

This year, I had a wonderful time running Sketch Up Friday within the walls of this beautiful building, but went the pandemic hit we made those remote. Another artists residency within Ashton Court was booked in for June - July, but at that point it wasn't deemed safe to run.

For nostalgia's sake, I thought I'd share with you some of the magic that is the mansion and how much I miss being there.
